Praying and NOT Paying !!!

It is very difficult to find a HUNDI-less temple or a temple where there is no entry tickets for darshan  or even for archana tickets.I did find one in the outskirts of Andhra Pradesh(Chilukur Temple)also famously called as the VISA temple.Wherever you go in India, money plays a vital role in darshan of god.We never find a temple which has not been commercialized. Many people are quite unaware of this temple(Chilukur),in which the presiding deity is none other than Tirupathi Balaji, who has come here to give darshan to one of his favorite devotee.I recently visited this temple and it was my 2nd visit to perform the 108 pradakshinas. It is believed that anyone desirous of seeking a wish fulfillment from chilukur balaji  must first make 11 pradakshinas at that temple and after its granted, one must return to perform 108 pradakshinas. You wont believe me if i say that the darshan takes hardly 5 minutes but doing the pradakshinas are a tough task.We can see young students to grandfathers coming here to do 108 pradakshinas.Since the temple is quite small, you can see a minimum of 2000 devotees daily.I cherish each and every moment i spent in that temple and did want to write about it.So those who have belief in god can visit this temple where you only have to pray and not pay!!!

  1. rather i would say we would go to a temple where people would ask for money...! There are temples which don ask money and are PRAY-ONLY temples as u say..but we dont prefer them do we?? we go to the ones where there is crowd or to the temple people recommend...i would say temple is a place to find peace and discover things in you or a place to analyse urself better...thats what i think..maybe wrong :)
